Hello John! Wanting to pull double holiday party attendance is a great goal! In fact, it’s on my “Disney bucket list!” Let’s explore the (somewhat limited but possible) window of opportunity to experience both Halloween and Christmas at Magic Kingdom Park!
Magic Kingdom Park celebrates the holidays with the “party seasons.”
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, a separate ticketed event, takes place on select nights from mid-August through Halloween night. Then there is about a week between the last Halloween party and the first
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, which usually takes place around November 8 or 9. Similar to the Halloween party, the Christmas party is a separately ticketed event that takes place on select nights, usually through December 20 or 21.
Given that window, the best way to attend both parties, in the shortest amount of time, is to attend one of the very last Halloween parties at the end of October and then one of the very first Christmas parties around November 8 or 9.
Unfortunately, it isn’t possible to see the two holidays celebrated during the daily parades, during normal operating hours, within the same week. The Halloween party festivities, including Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, are only available during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The Christmas party festivities, including Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade, are included in Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
John, I hope this is a helpful strategy as you plan a double-party visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Dreams do come true!
