What time of the year is a good time to visit? Im trying to avoid the busiest times this will be our first trip to Disney, we have a 3 year old daughter as well.

    Hey there, Heather!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so glad that you stopped by with a question for us, and I'm more than happy to help a fellow Tennessean!

Planning your first trip to Walt Disney World Resort sounds so exciting! Your little one is going to have the BEST time ever, and you will absolutely love seeing the magic through her eyes. I'm sure it will be an amazing vacation!

For your first visit, the good news is that you don't have to plan around a school calendar since your daughter isn't in elementary school yet. The benefit to this is that when school is in session, more families are less likely to be able to vacation. Most peak times are when schools are not in session, like Spring Break, Thanksgiving week, Christmas to New Year's Day and of course summer. Also, it's always a little busier anytime there is a holiday like President's Day or Memorial Day. So it really just depends on what time of year that you want to go. Do you want to see the Christmas decorations? Then maybe the first or second week of December would be good. Would you rather escape the cold and enjoy some time in the sun? Then maybe a late January or early February trip would work. Or maybe you just want to jump start your summer and head down in early May. As long as you work around holidays and school schedules, you will be in good shape!

I hope this helps to get you started with planning your upcoming vacation. If you have any more questions, just let us know. We're always happy to help. Have a magical day!
