    What time of year does the free dinning offer typically run? And when do they typically announce it?

    Hi Heather!

    Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  

    We love the Disney Dining Plan in my house.  With 12 and 15 year-old boys, dining is a big part of our vacations. and "free dining" is even better!

    Typically, free dining is offered during the less crowded months at Walt Disney World.  This is usually anytime school is in session.   There is a great historical chart of Disney World discounts on Mousesavers.com.  You can view when offers have been made available in the past, and what dates they applied to.  

    You can always view current discounts on the Walt Disney World Special Offers page of the website.
