1st time at WDW! My 9 yr. old daughter & I go in March, super excited! We have reservation at Garden Grill, is a family style eating experience? I am the only adult and could never eat all that food. Can my daughter & I share the meal?

Hello Jenifer!  Thank you for asking your question here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am just so excited for your trip with your daughter.  I have a daughter myself and I love spending one on one time with her.

I am so happy you have made dining reservations for your Walt Disney World vacation.  Garden Grill is a wonderful restaurant that slowly rotates while you dine.  Characters like Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale visit your table throughout the meal to take pictures and sign autographs.  I love character dining, it is so much fun!  The menu at Garden Grill is served family style which means the meal is planned out for you and is all-you-care-to-enjoy brought right to your table.  Because the meal is "family style" you and your daughter will be sharing the meal.  They will tailor the portions to fit your party size so you will  not be overwhelmed with food.  For the all-you-care-to-enjoy meal you will be charged for both you and your daughter.  The meal is around $38 for adults and $18 for children,  keep in mind prices are subject to change at any time.

I hope you and your daughter have a magical vacation.  If I can answer any other questions for you, feel free to ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
