1st time to wdw sept 16-23, was wondering how much time should we allow at each park to enjoy each of them. I scheduled my meals based on EMH and am trying to decide on which park to see each day and whether or not we should plan to park hop. Thanks:)

    Hi Alisa!

I generally allow 2 days for Magic Kingdom, 1.5 days for Epcot, 1.5 days for Disney's Hollywood Studios, 1 day for Disney's Animal Kingdom, and a half day for shopping at Downtown Disney.  (I also follow this loosely, as sometimes my kids want to go back and re-visit attractions on our last day--we usually spend it hopping to 2 or 3 different parks to get in all their favorites.)

If you are planning to get to the parks in time to enjoy Extra Magic Hours (EMH) in the morning, make sure you get there early.  We generally head to the EMH park in the morning, then leave it once it opens for regular park hours and head to another less crowded park.

The evening EMH work a little bit differently for us as it can be more crowded early in the evening, and as the evening wears on the crowds dissipate.  For us, with 3 little ones--we don't stay out very late, so we tend to avoid the parks that are scheduled for EMH on a particular evening.

The wonderful news is that you should enjoy light crowds and great Central Florida weather!

    Have a magical vacation!
