1st time to WDW w/ kids 17 and 12 april - may 2009. What is the weather between april 25th and may 3rd. What are the best type of clothing articles to pack. Is there laundry service at the music value resort. Thanks this panel is a lot of help.

    Hi Anna Lisa,

Congratulations in advance on your first trip to Walt Disney World....I am sure you will all love it and have a fabulous time!  The weather in April is still drier than the rainy season, and almost always warm. Wear shorts, short sleeved shirts, and a hat, and drink lots of water. April sees slowly rising temperatures and it is typically sunny. You will be very comfortable in the water parks or swimming in your resort pool.  Now, you will be traveling at the end of April and the beginning of May so I still suggest the same type of clothing but May can be hot and humid, or just warm. The rainy season usually starts in May, although that's not written in stone. Usually, if it does get rainy in May, it will be towards the end of the month. I would prepare yourself just in case by either bringing an umbrella or a rain poncho with you.  Also, please remember to use sun screen, you can burn very quickly in the Florida sun.  I would expect your Normal High temperatures to be between 82F and 88F.  The Normal Lows to expect would be between 60F and 66F.  There is a laundromat located at the All-Star Music Resort so you can plan on doing a few loads there if you wish.  Have a magical trip!

    Best wishes,
