1st time to WDW Jan 2010. Traveling w 2 kids(3 and 7mos). Wondering about formula and baby food..even if i bring ready serve similac, how do I preserve 2nd half of the can? Baby only takes 4 oz at a time. Same with food jars...only eats half. Ideas? tks.

Hi Tanya!  Many of the resorts do come with a small refrigerator in their rooms. However, as I just finished answering another question concerning refrigerators I did advise that the temperatures inside of them are not always cool enough to sufficiently keep perishables such as baby formula at the proper temperature.  When my own children have brought formula they brought it in powder form that allowed them to mix just enough for each feeding. They did not try to keep what was not used.  They did ship disposable bottles ahead to the resort as well as the powder formula and a small container of dish soap to clean bottles when needed.

The baby centers in each park will have a limited selection of baby foods for your to purchase if you need to grab something when you are not in your room. They will also have bottles and formulas but it might not be the same brand as your child is used to.  I always tried to ship as much as possible ahead to keep the packing lighter when traveling with the infants.  Ship boxes to your resort with your name and arrival check in date. They will hold it for you and you simply ask for it to be delivered to your room once you have checked in.
