    We will be going for the 1st time to WDW Jan 31-Feb 4, 2012 and I'm just wondering what to maybe expect from the weather? We are so excited, and celebrating my husband AND 6 year old's b-day during this time as well! :)

    Welcome to the Moms Panel Krystal!!

    Planning a first trip is always super exciting and I can't think of a better place to celebrate birthdays! Be sure to pick up "Happy Birthday" buttons for your husband and son at your resort or any Guest Relations location.

    Here are the average temperatures and precipitation amounts for January and February:

    January
    * Average high temperature: 70.8
    * Average low temperature: 48.6
    * Average precipitation: 2.30

    February
    * Average high temperature: 72.7
    * Average low temperature: 49.7
    * Average precipitation: 3.02

    Keep in mind that these are averages so it can vary. I was there in February in the mid-90s and it was super cold one morning. That was unusual but it can happen. For the most part, I've found January and February nice months to visit.

    Right before your trip, check out the 10-day forecast at www.weather.com. You can search the forecast for Disney World to see if there are any crazy weather patterns predicted during your visit so that you'll know how to pack for your trip.

    If you need ideas on how to celebrate their birthdays or any other questions during your planning, please let us know. We're thrilled to be able to assist you!

    Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
