1st time WDW goers! I would like to know, how long, approximately, it takes to get from Orlando Int Airport to our Hotel (Grand Floridian Resort). I'd like to make a dinner reservation for when we arrive - maybe in our hotel, if not in Magic Kingdom park

Hi Kathryn! Thanks so much for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I recently stayed at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and it took around 50 minutes to get from the Orlando International Airport to The Grand Floridian riding with Disney's Magical Express. It takes a little less time when traveling by car because Disney's Magical Express stops by The Polynesian Village Resort before going to The Grand Floridian when there are Polynesian Village guests on the bus. I would plan for about an hour travel time from the airport to your resort, and then plan for about 45 minutes to allow for check-in and getting settled. If you have a dinner reservation at The Grand Floridian simply take a look at the Resort Map that they give you during check-in and allow yourself a few minutes to walk there. If your dining reservation is at The Magic Kingdom, I'd plan for at least another 45-55 minutes to either take the monorail or water taxi to the park, go through bag check, and make your way through Main Street U.S.A to your dining reservation.

I hope this helps, and if you have any more questions please feel free to ask.

Enjoy your stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and have a magical day!
