1st time to WDW for fam of 5. Need help with dining. Is it wrth the extra $ for the deluxe dining? Don't want to need extra food, so unsure if dining plan will cover it all or if the deluxe plan is way to much food. Any help selecting right fit.

The dining plan is tricky.  When our kids were smaller, it cost us more to have the dining plan because they didn't really utilize it to its potential.  Now that I have teenagers and tweens I discovered the plan saved me a bundle.  I prefer the Magic Your Way plus dining package over the quick service meal package.  My kids liked to have the variety of having a table service meal instead of quick service meals all the time.  We found we did utilize all of the table service meals along with the quick service.  We could use multiple meals at once, for example we went to the Polynesian Luau which cost us two table service meals per person.  This was a huge savings had we purchased the meals outright, we would have spent more than the cost of the meal plan for the day.  The snacks are great, and most of the counter service stations have a little symbol to help with your snack selections.  The Deluxe gives you the option to have three sit down meals per day, and we never were quite able to use up all of the food.  If you are planning on going to places that require two table service meals like the Polynesian or Cinderella's Royal Table, it may be worth the extra money.  Hope you have a fabulous trip!!
