    Hi Michelle!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

The first thing to do is to determine when you will be going.  There are advantages and disadvantage to going during specific times.  Crowd-wise, the crowds are smallest when older children are typically in school.  That makes holiday periods and the summer crowded.  Weather-wise, the summers at Walt Disney World are hot and humid.  There are also special events through out the year, such as:
    • International Flower and Garden Festival
    • International Food and Wine Festival
    • Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party
    • Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

After you know about when you want to go, you should make a decision on where you want to stay.  Disney resorts are divided into different categories:  Disney Value Resorts, Disney Moderate Resorts, Disney Deluxe Resorts, and Disney Deluxe Villas.  There's also a campground at Fort Wilderness.  Disney Value Resorts are the least expensive, but they also have the fewest services and amenities.

My favorite Disney Value Resort is Pop Century.  My favorite Disney Moderate Resort is Port Orleans Riverside, and my favorite Disney Deluxe Resort is the Wilderness Lodge.

Unfortunately, our answers are limited in length, but I hope this gets you started.  Please write back with more questions.  You can send your question directly to me, and I would be happy to help!
