    Hi Jessica,

I can certainly understand how planning your first Walt Disney World vacation can be overwhelming.  Rest assured that it is a manageable task if you know where to start.

I suggest you begin by choosing your dates of travel.  Then select a Disney resort where you hope to stay during your vacation.  Here is a list of the many choices you have.  You can focus on the deluxe, moderate, or value resorts based on your proposed budget for the trip.

Vacation packages are often the best deal so I encourage you to book your theme park admission tickets and a dining plan at the same time you book your resort.  Park hopper tickets allow guests to enter more than one Disney theme park in any given day.  These are more expensive than Magic Your Way base tickets.  Since this is your first trip to Walt Disney World, I don't think you'll need park hopper tickets.  There will be plenty in each of the four Disney theme parks to fill an entire day with fun.  Go with the Magic Your Way tickets instead.

You can book your Walt Disney World online here or you can work with a Disney-savvy travel agent to plan your trip.   Meanwhile, don't hesitate to pop back to the Moms Panel site to post any additional questions you may have.  We'd be happy to walk you through the process.

Best wishes to you as you plan your exciting vacation!
