Hi Dave! Welcome to planDisney!
With so much to see and do at
Walt Disney World Resort, you’re in for an amazing adventure! From four incredible theme parks to two water parks, plus the shopping and dining available at
Disney Springs, there’s no shortage of fun experiences waiting for you. Whether it’s thrilling rides, world-class dining, or just soaking in the magic of it all, there’s something for everyone!
I’m happy to share that you can absolutely rent a motorized wheelchair or
Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) at each of the theme parks and Disney Springs. These rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so they cannot be reserved in advance. It’s important to note that ECVs must remain at the park where you rented them, so if you’re planning to hop between parks, you’ll need to return your ECV at one park and rent another at the next (Hakuna Matata, just show your receipt and you won’t have to pay again at the next park). If you’re looking for more flexibility, Disney has a preferred provider that offers ECV rentals that can be used throughout your stay, including at your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel and the parks. Head to the bottom of the ECV rental page for more information. The great news is that ECVs can be accommodated on most of Disney’s
complimentary transportation options, including buses, monorails, and even some boats!
Before you go, be sure to check out the
Florida Residents - Special Tickets, Passes, and Offers page. As a Florida resident, you might be able to take advantage of some great offers on park tickets and hotel stays to make your trip even more magical!
I hope this helps, Dave! If you have any more questions as you plan your visit,
don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re always here to help you make the most of your Disney vacation!
See you real soon!
