Hi there, Alex!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I know your Disney Cruise Line vacation is coming up very soon and I am so excited to hEAR you are going to visit a theme park prior to embarking on your adventure at sea! I cannot think of a better way to “kick off” a vacation than spending a day at the theme park and it will make you just that much more excited for what is awaiting you onboard!
My family has often cruised out of
Port Canaveral and whenever we can, we always add on enough time to visit at least one of the theme parks! We always make sure to visit
Magic Kingdom Park because it’s just that…magical! We love being able to walk and see some favorite characters while riding on some of our favorite attractions and we never leave without a ride on
Pirates of the Caribbean getting us really ready for the
Pirates IN the Caribbean deck party onboard. We love that there is plenty to do and see there and we can fill our day with as many – or as few attractions – as we want to do during that day! With a variety of types of attractions – from thrilling Big Thunder Mountain Railroad – to everyone’s favorite, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, there is plenty to keep everyone entertained! Now, we do love the excitement at Disney’s Hollywood Studios as well, but we just love starting our Disney Cruise Line vacations with a stop at Magic Kingdom Park. But you definitely won’t go wrong with either choice!
Make sure you have both the My Disney Experience Mobile app AND the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app downloaded prior to your adventure; you will find them both to be tremendously helpful when navigating the theme park and the cruise ship!
Wishing you a magical adventure with MANY memories made!
Stephanie
