1st time using Dining Plan. Should I inform server when we order that we are using dining plan or just tell them to deduct credits at time of payment? When getting my refillable mug do I tell them to deduct from card also? Thank you

    Hi Dawn!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

Your server will most likely ask you if you are using a Disney Dining Plan before you place your order.  If not, you can just tell them when you make your order.  When it is time to make your payment, you will give them your Key To The World card, and they will make the necessary deductions automatically.  Your receipt will show a total of how many credits you have left - this happens each time you use your Dining Plan, your new receipt gives your remaining credits total.  If you have lost count, you can ask at your Front Desk for a summary of your Dining Plan credits, and they will print one for you.

You can collect your refillable mug from the Quick Service restaurant at your Walt Disney World Resort.  Just hand them your card and say you would like to collect your mug - you can collect all your mugs at one time, or separately if you wish.  Your card will hold details of every Dining Plan transaction throughout your stay.

If you have any other questions, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
