Hi. What time does the TTC start running to Magic Kingdom for guests not staying at a Disney resort? Monorail and ferry? Is there any parking closer to Magic Kingdon for accessible guests? Thanks

    Hello Theresa!

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. It sounds like you are planning to get an early start to your day in the Magic Kingdom. If you are anything like my family, we are so excited to begin such a magical day, that we can hardly sleep.

There are designated parking areas for guests with disabilities. You will need to present a valid disability parking permit to gain access. For me, no vacation is complete to the Walt Disney World Resort without riding the monorail. But a voyage on the ferryboat reminds me that I am sailing away to a land far away and I am about to embark on an amazing adventure.

The Walt Disney World Monorail System typically operates 30 minutes before the earliest park opening until one hour after latest park closing. When traveling the highway in the sky, please note the monorails may be operating with modified schedules or routes. It is always a good rule of thumb to check with a Cast Member to explore other transportation options.

Ferryboats will begin sailing one hour before the Magic Kingdom opens and run every 15-30 minutes between the Magic Kingdom and the Transportation and Ticket Center. They will continue to run until an hour after the park closes. However, hours of operation may vary based upon weather and water conditions.

Theresa, if you have any more questions while planning your magical visit, please visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel again.

    See ya real soon,
