Hello! What time does TTC open? What's the best transportation from TTC and how long does it usually take to get to Magic Kingdom from TTC? Thank you!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Dana! Thank you for stopping by to bring us your question!

I don’t know about you, but once I spot the Magic Kingdom sign in the near distance, it makes my heart so happy; because I know a magical adventure is about to begin! Once you drive through that first Magic Kingdom parking entrance, you will have to make a pit stop at the Transportation and Ticket Center, where the Highway in the Sky will whisk you away to the land where you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy!

Dana, the Resort Monorail starts running about 30-minutes before the park opens. The ferries have varying schedules, so you will have to check on those upon arrival. I’ve timed it and it seems to average out to about 30-minutes from parking to park gate. This is including the time to ride the parking tram- the first ride of the day! -, going through bag check, riding the Resort Monorail or Ferry Boat, and walking to the touchpoint. This time is my personal average, so it may vary. And I’ve noticed the Resort Monorail seems to be a tad quicker, but if by minutes.

I hope this helps you in your planning efforts! Be sure to come back and see us again soon for any additional questions, tips, or planning advice. It’s our pleasure to help you dream up and plan an unforgettable visit to the place where the magic is endless!

    See ya real soon,

    Emille
