1st time trip for fam...had plans to visit epcot on sat. some reviews of prior f&w fest. about people having too much wine and beer and becoming obnoxious and it being super crowded...have any of you visited at this time? should change da

Hi, Tammy!  I have been going to the Food and Wine festival at EPCOT for all of the many years the event has been held.  Many years, I've been there on multiple weekends, days during the week, evenings - you name it.  I have yet to encounter anyone drunk and disorderly, and I imagine if anyone was seriously affected by indulging too much, they might be kindly asked to return to their resort.  I wouldn't concern  yourself with obnoxious behavior.

The weekends during the Food and Wine festival can get busy.  The festival is popular not only with visitors to the Walt Disney World area, but local area residents and cast members alike.  I have never been overwhelmed by the crowds there during this time, but you will find lines at many of the food kiosks, as people love to go and sample the various offerings in both food and wine.  If you use Fast Pass for the attractions you really want to do, I think you should be able to navigate the rides and attractions fairly well.  The big draw for the crowds are the Food and Wine Festival activities.

    Have a great trip!
