This is my 1st time traveling w/ a toddler to WDW. I was wondering how to combine fast pass+ & rider swap to make the most of our time at WDW? Specifically can 1 adult obtain a fast pass & utilize rider swap to allow 2 adults 2 ride?

    Hi, Denise!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so glad that you stopped by with this great question and I'm so happy to hear that you're taking your toddler on a Walt Disney World vacation!

While you do not need to use FastPass+ service to use the Rider Switch option, I highly recommend it to make the most of your time by using the FastPass+ line instead of the standby line. In order for both adults to enter the FastPass+ line, both adults in your party will need to have made a FastPass+ selection. The three of you will then be able to enter the FastPass+ line, one of you will board the Attraction while the little one and the 2nd adult waits. When you're finished riding, you'll take over watching the little one while the other adult in your party rides. It's a seamless and fantastic way to not miss any of your favorites!

I love how the folks at Walt Disney World have made family ride planning nice and easy. There are also many, many Attractions with no height requirement that you'll all be able to enjoy together! Another great resource to use is the Fun For Little Ones section of the main Walt Disney World website. I think you'll find lots of valuable information there since it's your first time bringing your little one.

Please don't hesitate to write back in with any other questions you have, Denise!

Wishing you and your family a Pixie Dusted vacation!
