Hi Alyssa,
Welcome to planDisney!
Today is the day!!! Looking at your arrival date, your
advanced reservation window should have opened this morning by 6:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, which would have been 3:00 a.m. Pacific Time. If you logged on and some of your preferred dining locations did not show any availability, do not panic! Just keep checking prior to your trip. I have often been able to snag hard-to-get dining reservations a week before our trip or a day prior to the day we want to dine at a particular restaurant. I have also set alerts with online dining reservation finders that search the Walt Disney World® dining reservation system.
If you are like me, you may be anxiously trying to reserve
1900 Park Fare. My girls and I are so excited for the
reopening of this dining experience on April 10th. It holds special memories for us because we dined there with them on their first visit to Disney. We also typically make a few other hard-to-get reservations including Cinderella's Royal Table, Space 200 Lounge, and 'Ohana. My advice always is that it is better to have a reservation at a less than optimal time than to have no reservation at all. So, if you find a time that might work, make the reservation and then keep checking the
reservation system to see if you can modify it later.
As you continue to plan, be sure to consider other special experiences and how those might coincide with your dining plans. For example, we always enjoy the
Happily Ever After fireworks show at Magic Kingdom. I will make sure we eat dinner and have enough time to find our fireworks viewing spot an hour before the show. For instance, if the show starts at 8:00 p.m., we would make a dining reservation at Be Our Guest Restaurant for no later than 5:15 p.m. so that we could complete dining before 7:00 p.m.
Alyssa, I sprinkled a little extra pixie dust trusting that you can make the advanced dining reservations that your heart desires!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
