Greetings, Sydnee and welcome to
planDisney, we thank you for your excellent question.
I am so happy to see that you will be visiting
Walt Disney World Resort during the Fall Event Events and Festivities to create many unique and magical memories, congratulations!
Sydnee, Walt Disney World Resort continues to strive to afford all visiting Guests an inclusive and enjoyable experience through the
Services for Guests with Disabilities and in particular with
Disney's Disability Access Service (DAS). Once registered, either in advance of your arrival from 2 to 30 days prior with the
DAS Advance option, or during your visit in person at any Guest Relations
inside any of the four Walt Disney World Resort theme parks you will be able to see the DAS accommodation self-selection flow of attractions in the My Disney Experience Mobile App
as soon as you enter a theme park.
Registering in advance of your arrival via a virtual chat with DAS Advance (2 days up to 30 days prior to arrival) will enable you, in consultation with a Cast Member to pre-select two DAS Return Times for select, available attractions for each day of your valid theme park admission.
My most recent experience with
Early Theme Park Entry as a Guest at a Disney Resort hotel was that I felt the DAS accommodation which I managed on behalf of my son, was not necessarily needed as attraction wait times were minimal, thereby saving the first DAS Return Time selection for the official park opening. My experience with the DAS accommodation was that I was able to access the service via the My Disney Experience Mobile App during Early Theme Park Entry precisely upon entry at the designated time of the park opening (subject to change).
Tips:Download the
My Disney Experience Mobile App to manage your plans and kindly update the Payment Method to facilitate any vacation essential app transactions such as opting in to the Disney Genie+ service, enjoying the convenience of
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering and much more!
The
Disney Genie+ service, available for purchase during your Walt Disney World Resort visit via the My Disney Experience Mobile App can be used along with the Disability Access Service (DAS) and utilizing both will be of great benefit to your theme park touring experience overall.
Sydnee, it was my great pleasure and honour to assist a fellow Canadian Disney fan. Did you know that planDisney has another Canadian panelist,
Ariane F. who is fluent in the French language?
Best Disney Wishes!
