How much time should I spend in each Walt Disney World park?

Hey there Justin and welcome to planDisney!

A seasoned Walt Disney World Resort veteran would tell you you can't spend too much time in any of the Disney Parks. There are always new snacks to ride, new sights to see, and new rides to ride! If this is a first-time visit I would take advantage of the Park Hopper Option to maximize my time. Get to your park of choice early and knock off the rides that tend to get the longest lines first. While everyone else is still in bed or just arriving, you've already done all the crazy stuff with a minimal wait.

Pro-tip #1: Don't eat when everyone else is! Things can definitely feel like The Mad Hatter's tea party in the parks when thousands of people all decide to eat lunch at 12 noon. Grab a light snack (and your water!) and keep moving. Knock out a few more attractions while everyone's distracted. Once the lunch rush has passed you'll be able to eat a full meal in peace.

Pro-tip #2: Leave! I am not a Rope Drop to Park Close kind of girl. At least not without some kind of rest. I usually leave at the hottest part of the day and take a swim at my resort pool or my personal favorite pastime, a nap! Then I can hit those parks again with fresh energy.

Pro-tip #3: Catch some fireworks! Nobody does fireworks like a Disney Park. Currently, Disney Enchantment in Magic Kingdom Park and Harmonious in Epcot are your choices for a nighttime spectacular.

Justin, take in every moment of these magical moments and make memories that will last a lifetime.

    Happy planning!
