Hi there, Renata! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I’m so glad that you’re back to chat about the new
Disney Skyliner, which you will have easy access to during your stay at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort! We’ve been answering
many questions about this resort and I can see why! With its wonderfully themed room options, and exciting new dining options such as
Sebastian’s Bistro, it is a wonderful choice!
I was recently able to ride the Disney Skyliner for the first time, and I found it relaxing and comfortable, as well as extremely efficient! I definitely think your best bet to get to
Epcot on the day of your reservation will be the Disney Skyliner for sure. I spoke with a cast member regarding what times you can expect the Skyliner to be operational and I was told that schedules vary daily. Generally, you can expect that the Skyliner will begin operating at least 30-60 minutes prior to whichever is the earliest Park opening hour between Epcot and
Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and will run for 1 hour past the latest closing time among those two Parks. Also, know that the Disney Skyliner boarding area at Epcot is near the World Showcase, so please plan accordingly, since this may not be the best drop-off location if your breakfast reservation is near the front of the Park.
Bus transportation to Epcot will also be available, and I was informed recently that they will run every 20-30 minutes from Caribbean Beach to Epcot when the Disney Skyliner is not operational, and every hour when the Disney Skyliner is operational. You can keep an eye on bus times easily through the
My Disney Experience mobile app, so that you can make the best decision on the morning of your visit!
Renata, I hope that this information is helpful to you as you play your day at Epcot! An early advanced dining reservation is a wonderful way to be granted early access to the Park before official opening, and allow yourselves extra time to explore! Please come back to see us anytime we can help you sprinkle pixie dust on your vacation plans!
See ya real soon,
Clara
