Hello, Mary Kate! Welcome to planDisney. My pals and I are happy to have you cruise our way as you plan for a voyage onboard the beautiful Disney Wish.
I just had the opportunity to set sail aboard the
Disney Wish and the experience was amazing. There are charming details to discover all throughout the ship. The theme of enchantment really does shine through from bow to stern. I can't wait for you to step aboard and see for yourself!
Aside from the beautiful surroundings, there was plenty of incredible entertainment to enjoy onboard. For entertainment in the
Walt Disney Theatre, there are two showtimes every evening. On my most recent voyage, the shows were performed at 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Showtimes are subject to change, so keep an eye on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for scheduled showtimes once you step onboard. The showtimes will also be displayed on a screen directly outside of the theatre. The performance that you will attend all depends on your
assigned dining time. Guests that have the main dinner seating (usually around 5:45 p.m.) will first enjoy dinner and then watch the later show in the evening. Guests enjoying the second dinner seating (around 8:00 p.m.) will attend the earlier show and then head to dinner.
The Wish has a not-to-miss broadway-style show that is performed on the first night of your sailing titled, "
Disney Seas the Adventure". I can't say enough great things about this show! It's full of beloved characters with Disney tunes that will make you want to sing along and a storyline that is full of feel-good moments. I highly recommend it. This show is approximately 45 minutes long which is a little shorter than usual as you ease into the first night of your sailing.
The other two broadway-style shows are
Disney's Aladdin - A Musical Spectacular and a unique retelling of
The Little Mermaid. These are approximately an hour in total running time. If you have little ones and are concerned about their ability to stay awake for these performances, I have been in your shoes. I suggest that you check with a Crew Member at the Guest Services desk onboard to ask if the performances will be available to watch on your stateroom television. And if your kids can stay awake to attend the shows, I recommend that you arrive about 15- 20 minutes before showtime to get a great seat up close. The performers sometimes travel through the aisles and there is a lot to see when you are front and center.
Have an incredible voyage and enjoy the wonderful entertainment that Disney Cruise Line provides! And please, sail our way again if you have any further questions. I'd be happy to help assist in any way that I can.
Happy Planning,
Adrianna
