Hiya Marylyn, and welcome back to planDisney! I'm so happy you're here with this great question about your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! It's awesome that you're thinking ahead to your
holiday celebration at Magic Kingdom Park!
Marylyn, I've heard that Walt Disney himself loved the holiday season. I feel like Walt Disney World Resort carries on that passion in the way that such care is taken to delight Guests through decor, treats, entertainment, and ambiance during Christmastime. It's such a wonderful place to be, and you'll definitely feel the spirit of the season during your visit.
After you've enjoyed an evening of yuletide fun at
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, you should be able to stay in
Magic Kingdom Park for about an hour to enjoy the shops and get some last-minute photos as the crowds die down.
Disney Resort transportation will run for about 60 to 90 minutes after the park ends, and you shouldn't worry about getting stranded in the park if you're one of the last few to exit. So, soak it all in! If you've made it to the end of the party, you've earned a perfect Cinderella Castle photo moment!
Be sure to check out the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays during your visit. This awesome event is included with your theme park admission, and you'll be treated to amazing seasonal snacks, performances by talented entertainers, and incredible decorations throughout the park!
Marylin, I hope that this is helpful to you, and I invite you to come back to planDisney anytime with other questions you have as you plan your holiday visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth!
See you real soon!
Jennifer
