Welcome to planDisney Raymond!
A cruise to
Alaska is truly the vacation of a lifetime. The scenery, wildlife, and amazing
excursions make this such a unique adventure.
All guests must be on the beautiful
Disney Wonder by 4pm. You will probably want to be at the port no later than 2pm to allow time to check-in and board the ship. You certainly do not want to be late and have to watch the ship sail away without you! Sail away will probably take place around 5pm. (Check all official documents from Disney Cruise Line to confirm times prior to your vacation!)
I suggest
arriving a day early to enjoy all that
Vancouver has to offer as well as to adjust to the time difference. While in Vancouver, hop on a bus to visit the Capilano Suspension Bridge. This is a fun experience for the whole family. It involves just a bit of hiking and crossing the bridge which is over 400 feet long and 230 feet above the Capilano River. It is a great way to kick-off your vacation.
Once on board the Disney Wonder, check out your
Navigator which will let you know all that is going on during your sailing. Look for your ship's
dining options and your dining rotation to see which dining room you will be starting in, and even take a peek at the menu to see what looks tasty! Your service team will rotate with you each night of your cruise so let your team know of any meal preferences or allergies your first night so you can be accommodated your entire cruise.
I hope you enjoy cruising to Alaska! The weather will vary quite a bit, so plan for all seasons when packing. Bon Voyage!
