Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with an excellent question, Nicole!
There is so much to see and do at the Walt Disney World Resort that I always have a difficult time prioritizing the most important experiences for my family. Deciding on how much time to spend at each of the four theme parks depends on how many times you have visited, your interests and favorite attractions and entertainment.
If this is your first visit then I suggest spending one whole day at each park. There is currently a
special ticket offer called 4-Park Magic Ticket, which is a 4-day ticket that allows Guests to enjoy admission to each of the four theme parks visiting one park per day. This way you will make the most of your visit and truly enjoy your time without having to rush. Add Park Hopper Option in the future after knowing your favorite attractions
and must-dos.
If you have previously visited and wish to have freedom to come and go, theme park tickets with Park Hopper option may be a great alternative. This is what I usually purchase for my family because we like to start the day at one park, take a break back at our Disney Resort hotel after lunch, and return to another theme park early in the evening. If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you may want to visit theme parks during
Extra Magic Hours. I personally prefer to enjoy them when they are offered early in the morning.
Because of all the new exciting attractions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, I highly recommend planning one full day at this park. You will have the chance to experience
Toy Story Land and
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, as well as the all new
Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. If you are park hopping, make plans to visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios during the first days of your visit to have the chance to return to the park another day in case you are unable to get a boarding group for
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.
While park hopping, I prefer to visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park in the morning, and I consider EPCOT a great destination for afternoons and evenings. I love having dinner at one of the amazing restaurants located in the World Showcase and staying for the fireworks show. Because of my daughters’ ages, I still plan a whole day at Magic Kingdom Park, with a short break during the day to recharge at our Disney Resort hotel. No matter what you choose, do not miss
Happily Ever After. This is my number one must-do activity and I cannot go home without watching this magical fireworks show.
Thank you for stopping by once again! I hope this helps you while planning and that you come back to visit with more questions.
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
