Hi Linda!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It's almost time for your high seas adventure on the Disney Dream-how exciting! One of the main reasons why I love a Disney cruise is not having to cook! Disney Cruise Line takes care of it all, from the moment we set foot onboard until our final “Sea Ya Real Soon” breakfast before we disembark.
Even if you are in one of the earliest Boarding Groups for your cruise, you can count on
Cabanas buffet being open for lunch as well as one of the main dining rooms for a sit down lunch. I can imagine Lumiere saying, “The Dining Room proudly presents...your lunch!” A third option is
Flo’s Cafe, which offers burgers, pizza, and sandwiches.
Be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before setting sail. It will show you the restaurants’ hours of operation, which table service restaurant is serving lunch that day, as well as a complete schedule of activities, entertainment, menus, and deck plans.
Here’s my embarkation day tip: be sure to carry a small bag for the three S’s: swimsuits, sunglasses, and sunscreen (along with your travel documents and medication). After lunch, we love to head to the pools and the
AquaDuck when cruising on the Disney Dream. Having our swim gear with us means not having to wait until our luggage is delivered to our stateroom.
Linda, please let us know if we can help you navigate your cruise planning waters. Hope you have a DREAMy vacation!
Bon Voyage!
Sherry
