Ahoy, Angel!
Welcome aboard planDisney! My crew and I haven’t had the chance to
sail on the Disney Adventure yet, so I am both excited and just a tiny bit envious of your upcoming cruise. Sailing on such a brand-new ship is like opening a treasure chest full of brand-new surprises, and I have a feeling embarkation day is going to feel like stepping into the middle of a grand celebration with your favorite Disney pals ready to send you off in style.
The
Adventure is unique in so many ways, and one of those ways is that the “Let’s Set Sail” show is currently offered multiple times on embarkation day. Many seasoned Disney cruisers are used to having one big sail away party to kick off the cruise, so having multiple showings is a fantastic way to help spread out the crowd and give more Guests a chance to enjoy the fun without feeling packed in shoulder to shoulder. It also means you have a bit more flexibility to grab lunch, explore the ship, and still make it to the show without feeling rushed, which is always a win in my book.
When it comes to the actual showtimes, I highly recommend checking your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you are at the cruise terminal and connected to the ship’s Wi-Fi. Entertainment schedules and the number of showtimes are always subject to shift with the tides, so the app will give you the most up-to-date information for your specific sailing. I will say that on some of the previous sailings, there have been three different showtimes, typically around 1:15 PM, 2:00 PM, and 2:45 PM. That pattern gives Guests plenty of chances to join the celebration and wave goodbye as the adventure begins.
I hope this helps you
plan out your embarkation day so you don’t miss a moment of the fun. Be sure to keep that Navigator app handy once you board, and you’ll be ready to jump into the celebration at just the right time.
Sea ya real soon as springtime magic carries us from one adventure to the next,
Dustin
