Welcome to planDisney, Kathy! No one likes to think of debarkation morning, but I hope you walk off the ship with a smile on your face!
The night before debarkation, your dining team will provide you with the time and location of your breakfast on debarkation morning. All Guests must be out of their staterooms by 8:00 AM. If you choose the Express Walk-off option, where you take your luggage off the ship yourself, you will be in the first group of Guests to leave the ship. The time you can debark will depend on when the local port authorities clear the ship, but in my experience, it has been between 7:00 and 7:30 AM. If you want Disney Cruise Line to take your luggage off for you, you will need to wait until the group designated by the Disney character on the luggage tag provided by your stateroom host or hostess is called. Typically, all Guests are off the ship by 9:15 AM.
There are two Disney Cruise Line terminals at
Port Canaveral, so make sure your car service knows which one to use. Kathy, I hope this helps you make your final plans for your magical cruise vacation. If you have any other questions, sail back to
planDisney for answers.
Bon Voyage!
