What time is the “Rope Drop” , and what time does the parking garage open?

Hi Alicia! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

Your magical day at Disneyland Resort is about to start! And you want to be ready! I can appreciate that. We're rope drop people too even if we don't always make it until the park closes with a couple of sleepy little ones in tow. We're early risers! And the parks are really great early. Wait times can be shorter and Disney PhotoPass photos often have shorter queues with less crowded backgrounds.

What time should you arrive to enjoy the park right away? A quick check of the Daily Events Schedule is always helpful. Just change the date at the top to the day you're planning to visit and select the park or parks you'll be enjoying. While this information can change, it is regularly updated with the current schedules for park hours, refurbishments, Entertainment, Parades, and more. It's a great resource for sketching out your plan for the day. Today's Early Entry, a benefit for Guests staying at one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels, is for Disney California Adventure Park at 7:30 AM Pacific Time, while the standard entry today for both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park is 8 AM Pacific Time. If you'd like to be through the gates and ready to enjoy the fun, I'd suggest arriving at least 30 minutes before entry.

Theme park parking at Disneyland Resort opens up an hour before the day's standard park opening time. That means you can enter the parking areas today at about 7 AM Pacific Time. That should give you enough time to get to the Main Entrance for rope drop.

    I hope this helps!
