    What time does the "rope drop" show start in MK on the day of extra magic hour ? On 12/9/16 MK park opens at 8 am for extra magic hour will the rope drop show still be starting g at 9 am or 8 am ? Thank you

    Extra Magic Hours are amazing. Extra magical moments during your Disney vacation!
    I believe you are talking about the Magic Kingdom Welcome Show, presented every day right before park opening. It usually begins around 10 minutes before park opens. When park opens earlier for Extra Magic Hours, the show is also presented earlier, like on regular days. For example, if park opens at 08:00 a.m. for Extra Magic Hours, the welcome show will occur around 07:50 a.m.
    Closer to your visit, I suggest you check back at Disney's official website for any changes on time schedules.
