What time does the rope drop at Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios theme parks?

Hi Susan! I love your question! You are truly trying to maximize every hour you have at Walt Disney World Resort. My family loves arriving at theme park opening and I know you will enjoy it too!

I believe, from another question you asked, you will be arriving on or around April 22nd and staying at a Disney Resort hotel. Using this information as my starting point and going 5 days out using the Five Day Calendar, I found the following times and events:

    Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park:
    April 22: Open from 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM
    April 23 & 25: Open from 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM with Extra Magic Hours from 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM
    April 24 & 26: Open from 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM

    Disney's Hollywood Studios - April 22-26:
    Park Hours: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM
    Fantasmic!: 8:30 PM
Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular: 9:15 PM

I know you are going to have a truly magical time while at Walt Disney World Resort and I love all of the planning you are doing. Thanks so much for sharing your questions with the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please don't hesitate to ask if you need any further tips or advice. I'm so happy for you knowing you will be at Walt Disney World Resort in less than a week. Enjoy every magical moment!
