Hi Victoria! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
Blue Bayou Restaurant in New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park is one of my favorite dining choices at Disneyland Resort. It's iconic and immersive. I like to order the Monte Cristo at lunch while dining in perpetual twilight in the bayou, and that Basque Cheesecake is calling to me. It's always a favorite and tends to book up fast, so you're right to want to grab a reservation as soon as possible.
Dining reservations typically open up 60 days out. You'll often see them becoming available at 6 AM Pacific Time. Currently, dining reservations are available for Blue Bayou Restaurant through mid-November, so
your date is open if spots are still available. If your preferred time and date are already booked, don't give up! You should keep checking. People's plans change, which means reservations can become available even just a day out.
Additionally, on the day of, you can try to "Join Walk-Up List" on the
Disneyland mobile app. Pull up the map on the app and change the selection from "Attractions" to "Dining" at the top. You'll find Blue Bayou Restaurant in New Orleans Square between Cafe Orleans and Royal Street Veranda. Click on Blue Bayou Restaurant and click "Join Walk-Up List."
If you're a foodie like me, check out
Disney Eats before you arrive. It's the official source for all the sips, snacks, and new delicious offerings at the parks. Depending on how long you'll be visiting, you might see some fun festive holiday offerings popping up around the parks over the course of your visit. The
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort are always a good time to indulge your cravings. I'm excited to see what jolly treats will be available!
Have a magical day.
Elizabeth
