What time can I make reservations at Disney world

    Hi Wendy,

Welcome to planDisney, neighbor! As a fellow Marylander, it’s always a pleasure to help someone from the Old Line State with their Walt Disney World Resort planning. You asked a great question: “What time can I make reservations at Disney World?” And while I wish I had a Madame Leota crystal ball and could see exactly which type of reservation you're referring to, let me take a stab in the dark and cover the major ones that tend to pop into my mind when I'm in trip-planning mode:

    • Theme Park Reservations – If your ticket type still requires a theme park reservation (Standard Date-Based Tickets no longer do), you can make those as soon as your tickets are linked to your MyDisney account. So, once that’s done, you’re good to go!
    • Disney Vacation Packages and Disney Resorts Collection Hotel Reservations – As of now, reservations can be made for arrivals through October 2026. Disney generally opens bookings about 12 to 18 months out, so it’s a good idea to check back often if your dates aren’t showing up yet.
    • Advance Dining Reservations – These open 60 days before your arrival date. If you're staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can book for your entire stay (up to 10 days) starting at 6:00 AM Eastern. Trust me, some of the most popular spots go fast! For non-Disney Guests, you can book 60 days before you arrive, but not for your entire vacation. You will have to search for availability one day at a time.
    • Enchanting Extras Collection – Things like private fireworks cruises, tours, and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique appointments also open 60 days in advance and can be reserved similarly to your dining reservations, at 6:00 AM Eastern. Another reason to be ready bright and early!
    • Lightning Lane Multi Pass, Single Pass, and Premier Pass – These selections can be made starting at 7:00 AM Eastern, 7 days before your trip if you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel, or 3 days in advance if you're staying elsewhere. These passes help you plan ahead for select attractions, and they’re a game-changer when it comes to maximizing your park time.

I hope this helps answer your question, Wendy! But if it didn’t quite hit the mark, Hakuna Matata! You can swing back by planDisney anytime and send me another question directly. I’d be happy to help you dive deeper into your plans. I can also share tips on the best Resorts for your family’s budget and travel style, which dining reservations to prioritize, and how I like to structure my Lightning Lane strategy.

Wishing you a magical trip ahead!

    See you real soon!
    Brent
