Hi, Diana! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
One of my favorite parts of a
Disneyland Resort vacation is all of the delicious food! Is there any better way to start a day than with Mickey waffles? I am a firm believer that all food just tastes better when it's Mickey-shaped. From those Mickey-shaped treats to fine dining experiences, you can find it all when it comes to
dining at Disneyland Resort.
If you're hoping to enjoy some sit-down meals at table service restaurants during your Disneyland Resort visit, reservations are recommended. Dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance, but when it comes to the time of day that those reservations open for booking, that can be a bit unpredictable. Some of my fellow planDisney panelists have reported finding dining reservation availability as early as 3:00 a.m. PT at the 60-day mark. However, it seems that many of the restaurants release their reservations in batches throughout the day. Many of us have been successful with booking our dining reservations 60 days in advance, around 6:00 a.m. PT. I would recommend checking for your desired reservations first thing in the morning, and if you don't find what you're looking for, continue to check back throughout the day to see if additional availability opens up.
Hopefully, you'll find all of the dining reservations that you're looking for. However, if you're unable to snag a spot at a restaurant you wanted, be sure to check if there is any
walk-up list availability on the day of your visit. You can check to see if a restaurant has available spots on its walk-up list using your
Disneyland mobile app or by scanning a QR code located near the restaurant's entrance. Using your app, you can add your party to an available restaurant's walk-up list, and when a table is ready, you'll receive a notification on your phone.
Here's hoping that your Disneyland Resort visit is filled with tasty treats and memorable meals! Have a magical day!
Samantha
