At what time can I make a reservation? We are in the Central time zone.

Hi Lisa! We are so happy you found our little corner of the magic here at planDisney! Oh boy, your upcoming vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth is very well timed with the Disney100 celebration kicking off on January 27, 2023! More on that later though, let's take a look at your question!

As planners, we love to see fellow Guests getting their Disneyland ducks in a row well ahead of time so that you don't miss out on any must-do magic. Dining reservations can be made up to 60 days ahead of time with reservations typically opening up around 6:00 a.m. PST, or 8:00 a.m. CST. I will note that the exact time reservations open is not an exact science. It could be a bit ahead or a bit after or even later in the day. There have also been some rare instances where it was a few days into the 60-day window before any openings were available. My best advice is to be ready to go about 15 minutes before 8:00 a.m. CST on the 60-day mark. Usually, I have separate tabs open on my computer for the different restaurants where I am hoping to secure reservations, and I refresh until I see them open up. If you are visiting for multiple days, you would need to do this at the 60-day mark for each day. This is a bit different from the process at Walt Disney World Resort where you can make reservations for the length of your stay if you are a guest of a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel. It might take a bit of faith, trust, and pixie-dusted patience, but hopefully, those dining reservations will be yours!

Get ready for an extra sprinkling of magic during your trip! Disneyland Resort is home to the kick-off of the Disney100 celebration on January 27, 2023, which includes limited-time offerings, the opening of Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway, and brand new nighttime spectaculars at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park! Wondrous Journeys will light up the night above Sleeping Beauty Castle and is set to include nods to EVERY Walt Disney Animation Studio film to date (can you believe it?!) while World of Color - One will honor Disney storytelling and how one small thing can spark a wave of imagination. I truly cannot wait to experience both of these! And ... it wouldn't be a Disneyland celebration without special treats, so have your eyes peeled on the Disney Parks Blog for a Foodie Guide as you get closer to your trip!

Lisa, only magic awaits! If you have any more questions, you know where to find us here at planDisney!

    Never stop dreaming,
    Tara
