It’s time to renew my Florida silver pass. Is there a discount for rentals? Also I thought you didn’t have to make the down payment when renewing that it would just be spread over 12 months. When I try to renew online it looks like it’s the regular price

    Hi Kathleen,

I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed your Florida Resident Silver Pass and are interested in renewing. For many years, that pass has been a perfect way for my family to enjoy the benefits of living near Walt Disney World. We find it is the one that best fits our lifestyle, and we love the opportunity to spread the cost of our annual passes across 12 months interest-free.

As I recall, when I last renewed our passes online last spring, there was a discount and the cost was spread evenly without a deposit.

To renew online, you will want to be sure you are signed into your My Disney Experience account . Any renewal discount normally applies from 60 days before your pass expires until 30 days after the expiration date.

If you are within that window and are still having difficulty getting the renewal benefits you expect online, I suggest a quick phone call to the special phone number for passholders, (407) 560-7277. I have found them to be extremely helpful in answering questions specific to passholders.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kathleen.  And enjoy your next year of Disney magic!
