What time would you recommend booking reservations for 'Ohana, if we wanted to be sitting on the beach to watch the MK fire works and electric water parade? Is the water parade year round and what time would we expect it to pass the Polynesian?

    Hi Jessica ~

'Ohana is one of my favorite places to eat. I would make my reservations at least 1 hour and 45 minutes prior to the fireworks. That should give you time to eat a leisurely meal and make it down to the beach. It also gives you a little wiggle room in case you are not seated exactly at your reservation time.

You can find the schedule for the Wishes online. Look for the small calendar icon on that page and select your date of visit. They post calendars about 6 months in advance.

The Electrical Water Pageant (EWP) is held each evening year round (weather permitting) on the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake. Here are the current times for the EWP:

    • Polynesian Village Resort - beginning at 9 p.m. (If the fireworks are scheduled for 9 p.m., the EWP will be in position but will not start until the conclusion of the fireworks - this may delay the rest of the schedule by a few minutes)
    • Grand Floridian Resort - 9:15 p.m.
    • Wilderness Lodge - 9:30 p.m.
    • Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground - 9:45 p.m.
    • Contemporary Resort / Bay Lake Towers 10:10 p.m. (If the fireworks are scheduled for 10 p.m. the EWP will begin shortly after the conclusion of the fireworks)
    • Magic Kingdom 10:35 p.m. (only during evening extended theme park hours)

The link above will give you current EWP presentation times. Click on the small calendar icon to switch the dates. Be sure to confirm the schedule with a Resort Concierge as it is always subject to change without notice. Also keep in mind the fireworks schedules may delay the EWP parade.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
