Each time previous I have carried a backpack, is all bags checked upon entering the parks? I wanted to carry just small purse this time to put our phones in, but just wanted to check if I will still need to go get it checked.

    Hi Tracy,

Welcome home!  Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  Yes, all bags go through a security bag check before entering the theme parks.  This does include smaller bags such as purses, fanny packs, and drawstring bags.

Recently I visited one of the theme parks and put my phone in my pocket so I wouldn't have to carry a bag around the park.  In that case I did not have to go through bag check.
