1st time @ POR-royal room (8/6 - 8/11), 5th annual WDW trip. Anyone know what the bus route between POR & POFQ is & will the majority of the buses be standing room only by the time they get to POR? DD10(11 on 8/9) & I are very excited to try

    Hi Cynthia!

I am so incredibly jealous!  The Royal Guest Rooms are going to be every little princess's dream come true!  I have three boys and I am trying to figure out how I am going to convince them to try them out - somehow, I think that I will have to save this room for a girls only trip!

The bus situation is not exactly perfect at the Port Orleans Riverside.  That being said, it is still pretty darn good.  They stop first at Port Orleans French Quarter and then it heads to the South Depot (just outside the lobby) and then the West, North and East Depot stops.  Your best bet is to hit either the South or East Depot, depending on where your room is located.  It will often take up to 15 minutes before you even leave the resort, but you will more than likely have a seat.  Typically, the only times that I've seen standing room only on the Port Orleans buses was right after the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom.

I hope that you have a wonderful vacation and keep those questions coming!
