How much time should we plan on spending at one of the water parks? I have allotted one day from 10am-2 or 3pm. Is that enough time? We have a 4 and 7 year old and they do like water slides. Which one of the water parks is better?

    Hi there, Wendy!

It sounds like you are looking to spend time at just one of the Disney Water Parks, correct?  In terms of which one I would recommend, it is difficult to choose.  They both have great areas for the ages of your children. For a unique theme, I might suggest Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park.  Be advised that the park is currently being refurbished so please verify the opining status as your trip approaches.  There is a fabulous area for little ones called Tikes Peak.  I have not met a kid who did not enjoy it!  Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is fantastic as well.  You really can't go wrong.  I do think your schedule allows for plenty of time in whichever park you choose.  I would recommend arriving 15 minutes before opening. This will allow you time to get settled immediately and begin enjoying your time.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I wish you a truly magical vacation!
