How much time would you plan on spending in Animal Kingdom with a 3 year old? Just hoping I allotted enough time with dinner reservations that evening at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue?

    Hi, Lisa!

Welcome back to Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You are in for such a treat, taking your 3-year-old to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park!

Get to AK near park open to enjoy all that the park has to offer bright and early. Head to Kilimanjaro Safaris 1st, while animals are most active, catch Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo-The Musical, Meet Favorite Disney Pals at Adventurers Outpost, and play in The Boneyard. There is so much more to see and do, but if you'd like to relax before heading over to Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, four to five hours should be enough time for everything mentioned.

If you are going to travel to Hoop-Dee-Doo from AK, you'll want to arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to showtime. Allow at least 1 1/2 hours from the AK bus stop to The Campsites. There is plenty to see at The Campsites, so arriving earlier is a great idea.

Have a wonderful visit, Lisa! Be sure to send more questions as you think of them, too. We love to help!
