    What time should we plan to leave our hotel for our breakfast reservations at Crystal Palace at 8:25? We are staying at All Star Movies and are driving our own car.

    Hi Cathy! Because dining reservations are so important we always recommend taking extra time to get to them so you won't miss out on the opportunity you have looked forward to.

    When heading to the Magic Kingdom with your own car you will need to park and take the parking shuttle tram to the Transportation and Ticket Center. There you will have a choice of either taking the ferry or the monorail to get to the Magic Kingdom. In the morning both will be busy and crowded so try to judge the lines.  If a ferry just left then head to the monorail.  When you arrive at the entrance find the spot where all early morning advanced dining reservation parties are allowed in. You will want to be early enough to grab some pictures on Main Street before the park opens and it gets crowded. Give yourself at least 15 minutes for this before arriving at the Crystal Palace.

    I would give yourself at least an hour and would probably leave no later then 7:15 from the resort. It is far better to be early then to rush and stress over being late. Disney recommends an hour and a half when calculating your timing to parks etc.
