    How much time should we plan for driving to each of the parks from POFQ? Also, I've heard you have to take additional transportation to the actual gate at MK...is that correct?

    With a cozy, intimate atmosphere, beautiful landscaping, and an awesome blue sea serpent water slide, Disney's Port Orleans Resort- French Quarter is my favorite moderate resort.

    Allow 10-15 minutes to drive to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios and closer to 20 minutes to reach Disney's Animal Kingdom. By car you can arrive at the Magic Kingdom parking lot in around 15 minutes, but you are right that additional transportation is needed to reach the Magic Kingdom front gate. In the parking lot, you will need to board a tram to the Ticket and Transportation Center, transverse the TTC, and then hop on the monorail or a ferry to reach the entrance to the park. The bus from the resort will drop you near the Magic Kingdom entrance so even with some wait time at the bus stop this tends to be the most efficient method to travel to this classic theme park.
