What is the time of pick-up from Port of Miami to the Miami International airport on disembarkation day if you use Disney’s ground transportation service? Also, will it look like the Magical Express bus at WDW? Thanks!

    Welcome back, Diane!

Thanks for continuing to use the Disney Parks Moms Panel for your Disney vacation planning! You are in for lots of MAGIC when you set sail for Key West, Nassau, and Castaway Cay on your Very Merrytime Cruise. What a fun itinerary and a great way to get in the spirit for the holiday SEAson!

While no one likes to think about the end of a Disney cruise vacation, it’s important to have those details finalized in advance to make your vacation nothing but smooth sailing. I always prefer letting Disney Cruise Line handle the details for me with ground transportation because then I'm confident that everything will be taken care of from start to finish.

On disembarkation day, after having the opportunity to enjoy the “Sea Ya Real Soon” Welcome Home breakfast, Guests having ground transportation to Miami International Airport will leave the ship at approximately 9:00AM and be directed to the motorcoaches. These buses will not look the same as the ones in Orlando and Port Canaveral, but rest assured that they will get you to the airport.

Ground transfers can be added by contacting Disney Cruise Line or your travel agent at least three days prior to your voyage. While always subject to change, current pricing for a one-way transfer is $21 per Guest (ages 3 and up).

Even more exciting is the fact that Disney Cruise Line offers Onboard Airline Check-In for Guests disembarking in Miami at the end of their voyage. Currently, this service is available to Guests using Delta Air Lines, American Airlines, and United Airlines for domestic flights and internationally on American Airlines and United Airlines. Pre-registration is required, and scheduled flights must be after 11:30 AM on the day your cruise ends. Guests must have also purchased Disney Cruise Line ground transfers from the port to the airport in order to be eligible.

Cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any other questions. We'd love to help sprinkle pixie dust on your sailing.

    SEA ya real soon!
