What time do the parks open and close? Where should we eat breakfast if we are staying in Fort Wilderness? What time do they open?

    Hi Lisa,

I love staying at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.  The campground is so relaxing and has so many fun things to do, from swimming to fishing to taking a horse-drawn carriage ride.  A great place to eat breakfast while you're staying at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is at Trail's End Restaurant.  Trail's End Restaurant has a wonderful buffet for breakfast.  They open at 7:30 a.m.  Trail's End Restaurant is located in the Settlement area of Disney's Fort Wilderness.  While this is in walking distance from some campsites, from many you would need to take the internal bus to the Settlement.  The good news is that the boat to Magic Kingdom Park is located at the Settlement as well, so on a day when you were going to Magic Kingdom Park, you'd be very close to transportation.

Park hours vary by day.  To get opening and closing times for your specific days, check the Disney Park Schedule online.  You can use the calendar to click on the exact day you are looking for park hours.  This link will give you hours for all four theme parks, plus the water parks, Downtown Disney, and more.  It also includes which park has Extra Magic Hours each day.  With Extra Magic Hours, Walt Disney World Resort guests can gain early entrance or stay late at certain theme parks on specific days.  As a guest at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, you can take advantage of Extra Magic Hours.

I hope this information helps in your planning, Lisa.  Have a wonderful trip and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
