What time are the parades in Magic Kingdom on Feb 1 and what are the best places to sit/stand to watch, how far ahead should we get there?

    Hey Jan!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

During your visit to the Magic Kingdom on February 1, The Festival of Fantasy Parade will begin at 3pm in Frontierland and end in Town Square near the Fire Station.

Oh boy, oh boy, do I love this parade! The colors, characters, and music will definitely be a highlight of your Disney vacation.

There are a few places that our family likes to stand during the parade.
    1. At the beginning of the parade route-Frontierland, Liberty Square. We stand just across from the Liberty Bell. Snacks are close by at the Liberty Square Market and restrooms are around the corner, just passed The Diamond Horseshoe. After the parade ends in Frontierland, we head over to Fantasyland to ride a few attractions while the rest of the crowd enjoys the parade.

    2. In front of Cinderella Castle, near the path to Frontierland. We can watch the parade march toward us and turn to circle in front of Cinderella Castle. Talk about magical!

    3. Main Street U.S.A in front of the train station. There are restrooms nearby at City Hall and sweet treats at Main Street Confectionery. This location also gives a quick exit from the park to take a quick break back at our resort before you return to the park for Happily Ever After Fireworks Show.

Jan, you'll notice the crowds begin to line up about an hour or 45 minutes before the parade starts. I would suggest to line up with them. This is a great time to take a break, enjoy a Dole Whip, and prepare to see ALL of your favorite Disney characters!

Enjoy your time at the Magic Kingdom! Don't forget to purchase Memory Maker to capture all of the magic in pictures!
