Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Erin!
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is the perfect way to add a little holiday fun during your upcoming runDisney-cation. I have to say, I agree with you, hot cocoa and snickerdoodles sound like a great way to fuel up before you begin a full day a races as part of the
2014 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend.
While Mickey & the gang have not officially released all the magical details for the 2014 events, historically Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade offers two showings and steps-off from Frontierland at 8:15pm & 10:30pm. My suggestion is to enjoy Holiday Wishes at 9:30pm and then head down Mainstreet U.S.A to pick out the perfect viewing spot for the 10:30pm parade. This showing is traditionally less crowded, and offers you the opportunity to enjoy other great events happening while most guests attend the first showing.
Additionally, Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club® Members have access to specially priced tickets-- something you won't want to miss out on if you have these vacation products.
I hope this information has been helpful, Erin! Please do not hesitate to ask any additional questions you may have as you plan and prepare for a weekend filled with yuletide spirt and runDisney-- a practically perfect combination. As the runDisney Specialist on the Panel, I can help you with all aspects of planning a vacation during a race weekend.
Have a Holly Jolly Time!
