hi! this is my time to the panel. i booked a vac the last week in sept., the wdw website says it is a great time to come but i read a book that said it will be very busy due to the food & wine fes in epcot. what do you think?

    Hi Shellie,

Don't change any plans!  I can tell you've done your research, and I think you have picked a great week to visit Walt Disney World!  There isn't a week out of the year that you couldn't find something going on that might make you second guess your choice.

This is the beginning of the International Food & Wine festival at Epcot, so there is a good chance that the crowd levels may increase on the weekends.  Still, it will be nothing like crowds experienced during summer months or holiday periods.  The other factor affecting crowd levels in September may be the free dining promotions that have been offered.  You may see an increase in crowds due to this, however these promotions are released when bookings are low and rooms are available so in my mind I think that it will be no more crowded than a typical September.

Have a great time, and plan on lots of pool time as it is still quite hot & humid in September.
